Case Study · Divi Development

Rhino Roofing

Rhino Roofing is a locally owned roofing company in Duluth, Minnesota, serving homeowners and businesses across Northern Minnesota and nearby Wisconsin. It needed a professional site that builds trust, shows its services and turns local roofing searches into calls and assessment requests. We designed and built it on WordPress and Divi as a flexible, conversion-focused platform the team can expand without a developer for every update.

Rhino Roofing

01 The challenge

Roofing is a crowded local service market — homeowners compare several contractors before they call. The site had to answer the questions that decide that choice, fast: who is Rhino Roofing, do they serve my area, what do they do, can I trust the workmanship, are they licensed and insured, and how do I request an estimate — without burying visitors in detail.

The approach

We treated it as design, UX, local SEO and conversion optimisation together, building a structured journey rather than a brochure: trust → service discovery → proof → action.

02 The solution

Built on WordPress and Divi so the layout is assembled from reusable sections and modules — the team can update and expand it without custom development for every change.

Conversion-focused homepage

The hero establishes Rhino Roofing as a Duluth roofing provider and puts the primary CTA — Free Roof Assessment — in the first interaction, alongside a click-to-call, giving visitors two clear paths by urgency.

A Divi modular design system

Reusable hero sections, service cards, CTA blocks, testimonial layouts, process sections, trust badges, galleries and service-area content — with global typography, spacing and button styles for consistency, and responsive controls tuned per breakpoint.

Service architecture for users and search

Roofing customers arrive with different problems, so the site is structured around individual services — roof replacement, repair, storm damage, installations, inspections, emergency roofing, gutters and windows — plus commercial categories and roof types. Visitors find their situation quickly, and each page is a target for local search.

Local SEO service-area structure

Dedicated service-area navigation covers communities across Minnesota and Wisconsin — Duluth, Hermantown, Two Harbors, Superior and more — a scalable structure for searches like “roofing company in Duluth, MN” and “roof repair in Hermantown, MN” that can grow without disrupting the main navigation.

Trust signals throughout the journey

  • Customer testimonials and Google / Facebook review ratings
  • Licensed & insured messaging and workmanship-warranty language
  • Certification and partner badges near the lead form
  • Local ownership, experienced crews and project imagery

Testimonials are woven into the conversion path rather than parked on their own page, so proof appears where visitors are deciding whether to make contact.

A simple, transparent process

A four-step path — Inspection → Estimate → Insurance Claim → Build — presented prominently to remove uncertainty about what happens after an enquiry, including help with insurance claims for storm damage.

Mobile-responsive and built to grow

Responsive layouts across desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile keep phone numbers, assessment CTAs and forms accessible on every screen — important for customers searching mid-emergency. The architecture leaves room for new services, service areas, roof-type pages, case studies, blog content and landing pages, so the site expands with the business instead of needing another rebuild.

03 Results

  • The site works as a local lead-generation platform, not a brochure: discover → explore services → verify trust → choose a service → request an assessment → call
  • A structured service and location architecture gives a scalable foundation for local search visibility across the Minnesota and Wisconsin service area
  • Reviews, certifications, warranty messaging, local ownership and project experience reinforce credibility at the point of decision
  • Free-assessment forms and strategically placed CTAs keep lead generation at the centre of the journey
  • Divi lets the business update and expand content — new services, areas, testimonials, landing pages — without rebuilding pages or needing a developer for routine changes

WordPress and Divi, used deliberately: professional design, a local-SEO architecture, conversion optimisation, trust and social proof, responsive UX and a scalable content structure — a roofing website built not just to look professional, but to help Rhino Roofing win more customers in its local market.
